FLOTATION COLLARS AND SYSTEMS
  Automatic TFSS
The Automatic Tactical Flotation Support System (ATFSS) is a low profile inflatable aid to flotation device specifically designed to automatically inflate when submerged in water in approx. 6 seconds with a manual back-up. Low cost to maintain and very easy to re-configure after use.

The ATFSS is designed to aid in the recovery of personnel when submerged in water.  Also incorporates a manual operation and each unit has an oral inflation tube for more inflation or deflation in the field.  Will not inflate inadvertently due to spray or rain. Very low cost to maintain and extremely easy to re-configure once used.  Wear options include belt loop style attachment (slides onto operational best) or incorporates into a MOLLE system.

  TFSS Flotation System
The Tactical Flotation Support System (TFSS) is an inflatable aid to flotation device specifically designed for covert war fighters, combat swimmers, and/or maritime airborne operations personnel. Available in a variety of pouch colors with "overt" and "covert" bladders.

The Tactical Flotation Support System is an inflatable aid to flotation device specifically designed for covert war fighters, combat swimmers, and/or maritime airborne operations personnel. It can also be used with the Helicopter Aircrew Breathing Device (HABD) during egress from a submerged vessel of any type. The TFSS-5326 was designed to provide 45lbs positive buoyancy in seawater at a depth of 33 ft., 57lbs of positive flotation at a depth of 15 ft., and 80lbs of flotation on the surface, allowing todays war fighter a maximum load-out of equipment.

Helicopter Egress System for Passengers (HESP)
The HESP is designed for passengers of helicopters in the unlikely event of a ditching in water. The HESP consists of an underwater breathing device and a flotation assembly. A must have for helicopter passengers.

The HESP shown contains a 2.0 SEA breathing device for longer breathing time and a LPU-40 flotation system which provides 65 lbs of buoyancy for helicopter passengers who may egress from a stricken helicopter into the sea.

  Passenger Flotation
Part Number: AMTC-R1109-XX
Quick don passenger flotation is designed to give passengers an emergency means of flotation. The system can be equiped with a SEA bottle for emergency air.

The quick don passenger flotation is packed into a pouch and attached by a belt.  The system is small, compact and light weight.  Designed to be issued to individuals flying on helicopters which do not have flotation.  The compact system which can be equipped with an SEA, gives the passenger flotation and air in one system.  A must have.

  ALPS Floation Collar (Single Bladder)
AMTC-R1044-XX
General purpose, low profile flotation collar providing 35 lbs of bouyancy for use by airborne rescue crews, paramilitary and law enforcement agencies. All ALPS come standard with CO2 installed, whistle, reflective tape and attachment point for water activated light (ACR L8-3).

The ALPS Flotation Collar is very light, so you don't feel weighed-down while wearing it.  Its low profile design leaves you free to operate unhindered.  Attached to a vest using the MOLLE system, this is the perfect flotation device which is one of the easiest flotation system to maintain.  The flotation bladder is part of the outer casing.  Can also be fitted with an auto inflation device.

[It has a bouyancy rating of 35lbs.]

  ALPS Flotation Collar (Dual Bladder)
AMTC-R1083-XX
Very similar to the ALPS (Single Bladder), the Dual Bladder is designed with a unique redundant double bladder system with 2 CO2's, over pressure relief and 2 oral inflation tubes.

The ALPS Flotation Collar is very light, so you don't feel weighed-down while wearing it.  Its low profile design leaves you free to operate unhindered.  Attached to a vest using the MOLLE system, this is the perfect flotation device which is one of the easiest flotation systems to maintain.  The flotation bladder is part of the outer casing.  Can also be fitted with an auto inflation device.

[It has a bouyancy rating of 35lbs.]

  CBP Flotation Collar (LPU-40)
AMTC-R1049-XX
This flotation collar is used to support air crewmen in the water. The flotation collar is a low profile casing made of Nomex. Provides a minimum of 65 lbs bouyancy.

  LPU-40 Flotation Collar
1005877-1
The LPU-40 Flotation Collar keeps personnel afloat even in tough conditions.

Safe and Dependable.  The LPU-40 is the premier Flotation Collar used in the US Army's Air Warrior program.  It attaches to vests and harnesses using the MOLLE system and the outer casing is composed of durable Nomex fabric.  A single, beaded inflation lanyard is pulled once to inflate both bladders and receive approximately 65 lbs. of buoyancy.  Our unique bladder design incorporates arm straps and a cinch strap, which improve the flotation position of the user.

  Crew Vest with Integrated Flotation
AMTC-V1085-BL
The light weight crew vest (MOLLE compatible) with integrated flotation is designed to provide the air crewman with a light weight source to carry essentials and still have flotation available when needed.

The light weight modular vest (MOLLE compatible) with integrated flotation is designed to provide the air crewman with a light weight source to carry essentials and still have flotation available when needed. Flotation is built into the vest, easy to maintain and very low profile therefore not restricting movement of the head even with a helmet on. Included is internal pockets and a back pocket for a hydration system. The vest has Velcro below the flotation on the right side for name tape and on the flotations right side for a badge. On the back is Velcro for an identifier. Built in flotation provides 35 lbs. of flotation.

The vest is designed to allow the user to position their equipment pockets wherever they choose using the MOLLE system.
